About
Kami graduated from Western Carolina University with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2014. She graduated from NC State University with a Master’s in Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Sports Management in December of 2023.
She currently serves her community the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, NC as the Recreation Manager. She has held this position since July 2018.
She has previous experience in private sports facility management, non-profit work, and education.

Currently managing programming and facilities that include seven community gyms, a skatepark, two community playgrounds, one softball/baseball complex, two sports complex’s, Qualla Boundary Senior Games, and Qualla Boundary Special Olympics

Instructional Assistant
Provided instructional support to certified teacher. Taught reading to grades K-1. Served as Chairperson for School Improvement Committee. Awarded Instructional Assistant of the year 2018-2019 School Year by colleagues.
Asheville Racquet Club
Member Services and Account Manager
Managed a team of customer service-oriented staff and maintained schedule and payments for accounts and services of 800-1300 memberships.
